ICI Paints

ICI's consumer decorative-paint business had one of the leading market shares in most countries where their paints were sold. Glidden paints are carried at all Home Depot stores. In 2000, PPG Industries acquired ICI's refinish-coatings, industrial coatings and Grow Automotive solvents and thinners businesses.
ICI paints and speciality products was acquired by AkzoNobel in 2008, who immediately sold off parts of ICI to Henkel, and integrated ICI's remaining business within its existing operation. -
